Dr Dilruni Pallewatta

Dr Dilruni has practised medicine in Australia for more than 20 years, beginning in Sydney in 2004. Following the completion of her Fellowship, she served as a medical examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners over a period of 8 years.

She remains dedicated to upholding the rigorous high standards of care expected of examiners. Since moving to Brisbane Dr Dilruni has enjoyed providing the best possible medical and preventative care to the community. She is committed to listening to patient concerns and providing care that is tailored to each patient’s circumstances. While she enjoys all aspects of General Practice, Dr Dilruni has a keen interest in women’s health and children’s health, extending into cervical screening and contraception.

She also has an interest in chronic disease management, such as Asthma, Diabetes and Hypertension. Make her your regular GP today.

Dr. Prabash Gardiyehewa

General Practitioner, Male, MBBS, FRACGP

With nearly 30 years of medical experience, Dr. Prabash brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to our community. After completing his training in Europe in 1993, Dr. Prabash began his Australian medical career in 2009, spending three years in rural Queensland before relocating to Brisbane in 2012. Since then, he has proudly served The Gap community for over a decade, helping patients achieve their health goals and improve their overall well-being.

Dr. Prabash is also a CASA Designated Aviation Medical Examiner with a strong focus on Occupational Health, Workplace Health and Safety, and work-related injuries.

Dr. Uthpali Seneviratna

General Practitioner, Female AMC, MBBS, FRACGP

Dr. Uthpali has been practising medicine in Australia since 2008, starting her career in hospitals before transitioning into general practice. With over 15 years of experience, she has developed a special interest in mental health, as well as managing chronic conditions like diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Uthpali is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients of all ages, helping them achieve long-term health and wellness. Outside of medicine, she enjoys a vibrant life filled with music and dancing, and has a deep passion for the outdoors and nature.

Believing in the importance of balance and wellbeing, both for herself and her patients, Dr. Uthpali is committed to fostering a supportive and welcoming environment in her practice. We’re excited to welcome Dr. Uthpali to our team and know she will bring warmth and expertise to our community!

Dr Ross Bourne completed his medical training at Griffith University in Brisbane and has been practicing as a GP with a strong focus on comprehensive, patient-centred care. He has a special interest in paediatrics, men’s health, and sexual health, and is committed to creating a comfortable and inclusive environment for all patients. Dr Ross does not provide Work cover consultations or Skin checks.

Dr Ross offers bulk billing for patients aged 25 years and under, reflecting his dedication to supporting young people in accessing high-quality healthcare. Outside of medicine, Ross lives locally with his husband and their rescue greyhound, and enjoys baking, coin and mineral collecting, and exploring history in his spare time.

His special interests include:

Outside of his work, Dr Ross enjoys staying active, exploring the outdoors, and contributing to his local community. He believes that health is a journey, and he is here to guide and support his patients every step of the way.

Dr Thinushiya Arulgnanaselvam

General Practitioner

Dr Thinushiya Arulgnanaselvam began her medical career in Sri Lanka, where she earned her MBBS in 2011. After relocating to Australia in 2016, she gained valuable experience across a range of hospital departments before pursuing a career in General Practice. In 2024, she achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Dr Arulgnanaselvam is committed to providing holistic, patient-centred care and values building strong, supportive relationships with her patients. Her areas of interest include preventive care, chronic disease management, mental health, women’s and children’s health, Indigenous health, and weight management. She completed the Sydney Child Health Program in 2019 and is currently advancing her expertise through further studies in Lifestyle Medicine with the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine.

Elizabeth Wessels

General Practitioner, Female MBChB, FRACGP

Dr Elizabeth C. Wessels is an experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, compassionate care to patients of all ages. She spent 10 years working as a General Practitioner in South Africa before relocating to Australia, where she has continued her practice in Imbil for one year and Gympie for two and a half years.

Dr Wessels holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She also completed a Diploma in Diabetes in 2012 through Cardiff, Wales, and achieved her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2025.

She has a strong interest in delivering holistic, evidence-based care, with clinical skills spanning mental health, diabetes management, cardiovascular risk management, women’s health and screening procedures, paediatrics, family medicine, geriatric medicine, and healthy ageing. Dr Wessels also performs skin checks, biopsies, and minor non-complex excisions, and has completed Mental Health Skills Training. In addition, she brings valuable experience from her involvement in clinical trials in South Africa.

Outside of medicine, Dr Wessels is happily married and a proud mother of three. She enjoys reading, running, and spending quality time with her family. She is also a devoted Christian, which plays an important role in her personal values and approach to life.

Odette Raiti

Dietitian

Odette Raiti is a passionate accredited practising dietitian dedicated to supporting patients in achieving healthier, sustainable outcomes. Odette graduated from QUT with a 4-year Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, (hons) in 2017. She has extensive expertise in:

• Women’s health, hormone balance, perimenopause and menopause
• Weight loss and healthy weight management
• Prevention and management of chronic conditions, including: Hypertension, high cholesterol, kidney disease, fatty liver, PCOS and diabetes (special interest in reversal thereof, and glucose management through sustainable lifestyle changes)

Odette’s approach is empathetic, kind and practical—meeting every patient where they are on their journey and providing personalised, realistic support.

Farah Sobhanian is a compassionate and highly experienced Registered Psychologist with 18 years in the mental health field. She has worked extensively across a broad range of mental health conditions and therapeutic interventions, providing personalised, evidence-based support to individuals of all backgrounds.

Farah is committed to creating a relaxed, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment, where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to work towards their personal goals. She takes a holistic and client-focused approach, tailoring her strategies to suit each person’s unique needs and challenges.
